About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Store Manager to join our team at McCarthy Recruitment. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for leading a team of sales associates and ensuring the store runs smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Management: Lead and motivate a team of sales associates to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
  • Store Operations: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the store, including stock management, visual merchandising, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
  • Sales and Customer Service: Drive sales growth and improve customer satisfaction by implementing effective sales strategies and providing exceptional customer service.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, including ordering and receiving stock, to ensure the store is always fully stocked and ready for customers.
  • Performance Management: Monitor and analyze sales performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to increase sales and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Leadership Experience: Proven leadership experience in a retail or sales environment, with a track record of achieving sales targets and improving customer satisfaction.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities, with a flexible and proactive approach to work.
