Frontline Support Worker for Survivors of Abuse

Join our team as an Independent Domestic Violence Advocate (IDVA) and play a vital role in supporting survivors of domestic violence. Estimated salary for this role is £42,000 - £52,000 per annum.
About the RoleThis is a challenging yet rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of those affected by domestic violence. As an IDVA, you will provide high-quality, frontline services to victims of abuse, including ongoing risk assessment, individual safety planning, and advocacy.
ResponsibilitiesYour key responsibilities will include:
- Providing independent advocacy and support to high-risk victims of domestic violence
- Managing caseloads effectively and prioritizing tasks
- Developing and maintaining relationships with local agencies and organizations
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- An Enhanced DBS check within the last 12 months
- Experience working with vulnerable individuals
- A strong understanding of the legal framework related to the protection of children and vulnerable adults
