Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Support Worker to join our team at Priory Adult Care's Old Vicarage in Bristol. As a Senior Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing 24/7 specialist residential support to individuals with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality personal care and support to individuals, promoting their independence and well-being.
  • Develop and implement personalized care plans, working closely with the care team and individuals to achieve their goals.
  • Participate in activities and programs designed to promote social interaction, engagement, and community integration.
  • Collaborate with the care team to ensure seamless delivery of care services, responding to changing needs and priorities.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Senior Support Worker or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of adult care principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with individuals, families, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays, to meet the needs of the service.
  • Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development, with a desire to enhance skills and knowledge in adult care.
