Gillmoss Medical Centre is a vibrant and dynamic GP surgery that is committed to delivering high-quality patient care. We are seeking an experienced Healthcare Reception Specialist to join our team and contribute to our success.

Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to our clinical team. This will include receiving, assisting, and directing patients in accessing the appropriate service or healthcare professional. You will also be required to maintain accurate records, communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and external agencies, and undertake various administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
• Processing and issuing prescriptions within standard timeframes as per practice policy
• Maintaining and monitoring the practice appointment system
• Processing personal and telephone requests for appointments, visits, and telephone consultations

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will require:
• Experience of working in a public-facing role
• Experience of using EMIS Web
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Salary and Benefits
