Healthcare Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Healthcare Specialist to join our team at HMP Altcourse, a busy Category B male prison in Liverpool. This is a crucial role within the healthcare team, making a real difference to patients and delivering outstanding care.
The successful candidate will have a NVQ Level 2/3 qualification in Health & Social Care, or equivalent, and experience in a care setting. Any experience in substance misuse or mental health would be an asset.
As a member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for implementing clinical care packages, phlebotomy, and assessment, treatment, and evaluation of patient care. You will also support the SMS NMP team in delivering medication and care to our substance misuse patients.
In return, we offer a competitive salary of £25,500 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a range of benefits, including a company pension scheme, 25 days annual leave increasing with service up to 28 days per year, plus public bank holidays, and an extensive range of wellbeing and lifestyle benefits.
