**Expertise in Therapeutic Child Care**

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Social Worker to join our team, dedicated to providing high-quality care for looked-after children and care leavers.

The successful candidate will have a sound knowledge of legislation and regulations surrounding looked-after children, with the ability to apply this to their practice.

This role involves working closely with therapeutic practitioners and reunification workers to develop robust plans with targeted interventions, ensuring successful rehabilitation for the child.

The position requires court work, as part of the project entails revoking care orders following successful rehabilitation.

A good understanding of contextual safeguarding is desirable.

This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974, and appointment to this post will be conditional upon receiving a satisfactory response to a DBS check.

The estimated salary for this position is £44,000 - £54,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Responsibilities and Requirements:

  • Completing comprehensive assessments
  • Preparing Care/Pathway Plans
  • Court work
  • Undertaking statutory LAC reviews and visits
  • Attending multi-agency meetings
  • Managing adolescent risk
