Job Type: Temporary Contract (3 months)

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum (pro rata for part-time hours), dependent on experience

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Child Protection Specialist. As a qualified Social Worker with a minimum of 2 years' experience in a Children's Social Work team, you will be responsible for making threshold decisions on all referrals for children across Worcestershire.

You will work closely with the Team Manager and other professionals to ensure the safety of children under their close supervision. Your duties will include participating in daily Domestic abuse triage and MASH case discussions, liaising with other professionals, and carrying out home visits.

We are looking for someone who is highly motivated, has excellent communication skills, and is able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Making threshold decisions on all referrals for children across Worcestershire
  • Participating in daily Domestic abuse triage and MASH case discussions
  • Liaising with other professionals
  • Carrying out home visits
