Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Child Welfare Specialist to join our team in the Children Looked After department. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified Social Worker to work in a busy and supportive environment, assessing and working with children and families to provide early intervention and support.

In this role, you will conduct assessment work directly with children and their families, partnering with agencies such as the police and health to ensure the best possible outcomes with sustainable positive change. You will also establish and maintain relationships with service users and other agencies to ensure services meet identified needs.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England, experienced in working with children and families, including those from vulnerable groups. They will be creative, flexible, and forward-thinking in approach, knowledgeable of Child Protection legislation and understanding of child protection issues.

This role offers a competitive salary of £33.30 per hour, an easy registration process, referral schemes, and incentives.
