Role Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting assessments of kinship foster carers and preparing reports for court submission. This role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively under pressure.


Main Responsibilities

  • Assess kinship foster carers and prepare reports for court submission.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with carers, children, and other stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to provide comprehensive support services to kinship carers and their families.

Requirements

  • Degree in Social Work or equivalent qualification.
  • Registration with the HCPC and current DBS clearance.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in child social work, preferably in kinship foster care.
  • Able to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
