About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Care Home Support Worker to join our team at Search Consultancy. As a Care Home Support Worker, you will play a key role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients in a care home setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support and care to elderly service users in a care home environment, ensuring their dignity and well-being are maintained.
  • Coordinate and allocate work tasks to ensure effective delivery of support and care in line with individual care plans.
  • Provide hands-on support to individuals in a care home setting, promoting independence and autonomy.
  • Undertake assessments and reviews of individual care plans to ensure they are up-to-date and effective.
  • Liaise with families, carers, and external professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to care and support.
  • Monitor and report on the progress and well-being of clients, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Support with staff training, development, and supervision to ensure a high-performing team.
Requirements
  • Previous experience working in a similar role within the social care sector.
  • NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
  • Experience of working with individuals with elderly care needs.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, families, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team, with a commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centered care.
