About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Care Home Support Worker to join our team at Search. As a Care Home Support Worker, you will play a key role in assisting service users in a care home setting, working collaboratively with a team of support workers to deliver high-quality care and support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing Support and Care: Assist elderly service users in a care home environment, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
  • Coordinating Work Tasks: Coordinate and allocate work tasks to ensure effective delivery of support and care in line with individual care plans.
  • Hands-on Support: Provide hands-on support to individuals in a care home setting, promoting independence and dignity.
  • Assessments and Reviews: Undertake assessments and reviews of individual care plans to ensure they are up-to-date and effective.
  • Liaising with Stakeholders: Liaise with families, carers, and external professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to care.
  • Progress Monitoring: Monitor and report on the progress and well-being of clients, ensuring their needs are met.
  • Staff Development: Support with staff training, development, and supervision to ensure a high-quality care service.
Requirements
  • Experience: Previous experience working in a similar role within the social care sector.
  • Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and management skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
