Join Our Team as a Residential Childcare Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Residential Childcare Worker to join our team at Randstad Care. As a Residential Childcare Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting children in care to thrive in a specialist residential home and educational setting.

About the Role

As a Residential Childcare Worker, you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting the social and educational needs of children by accompanying them into classroom environments
  • Developing and carrying out engaging activities based on the interests of the young people in the house
  • Acting as a key worker to some children and supporting them on a one-to-one basis
  • Actively identifying potential risks or escalation points and using positive behaviour management techniques
  • Coordinating wider care team to ensure consistency of care and messaging for young people

You will work closely with a team of Residential Childcare Workers to provide a safe and supportive environment for children in care. You will also have the opportunity to work with children with complex needs, including autism spectrum disorder, learning disabilities, and other neurodiverseities.
