About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Care Professional to join our team at Home Instead. As a key member of our care delivery team, you will play a vital role in ensuring our clients receive the highest quality care experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the start of new care packages, conducting client and caregiver introductions, and ensuring MAR sheets are completed correctly.
  • Regularly provide feedback on necessary changes to care plans, schedules, and conduct periodic client quality assurance checks.
  • Provide cover to ensure continuity of care for clients during periods of caregiver absence and report any concerns to the Care Manager in a timely manner.
  • Support caregivers out in the field, including shadow shifts to help build confidence and provide practical support and training to new caregivers.
Requirements
  • Social Services and Healthcare at SCQF Level 7 (SVQ 3) or equivalent, or willingness to work towards this.
  • Experience in the care sector delivering a wide range of personal care services and knowledge of legislation and regulations specific to Health and Social Care.
  • Good communication skills, ability to build rapport quickly, and understanding of the importance of confidentiality.
  • Full driving license and means of transport if required within the territory to visit clients.
What We Offer
  • Guaranteed, contracted 28 hours, averaged per week, including alternate weekends, with an enhanced hourly rate of pay of £13.50 per hour.
  • Additional payment for out-of-hours on-call team alternative weekends and opportunities for professional development and growth.
