About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Care Home Support Worker to join our team at Search Consultancy. As a Care Home Support Worker, you will play a key role in assisting service users in a care home setting, working in a team to deliver high-quality care and support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support and care to elderly service users in a care home environment, ensuring their dignity and well-being are maintained.
  • Coordinate and allocate work tasks, ensuring that support is delivered effectively and in line with individual care plans.
  • Provide hands-on support to individuals in a care home setting, promoting independence and autonomy.
  • Undertake assessments and reviews of individual care plans, ensuring that care is tailored to meet the needs of each client.
  • Liaise with families, carers, and external professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to care, promoting effective communication and collaboration.
  • Monitor and report on the progress and well-being of clients, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as necessary.
  • Support with staff training, development, and supervision, ensuring that the team is equipped to deliver high-quality care.
Requirements
  • Previous experience working in a similar role within the social care sector, with a strong understanding of elderly care needs.
  • NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent, demonstrating a commitment to delivering high-quality care.
  • Experience of working with individuals with elderly care needs, with a strong understanding of their needs and preferences.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to coordinate and allocate work tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with families, carers, and external professionals.
  • A commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centered care, with a strong focus on promoting independence and dignity.
