Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Specialist Physiotherapist for Unscheduled Care to join our team at University Hospital Ayr. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional physiotherapy services to patients in the respective clinical areas. You will act as a senior clinical decision-maker, leading complex care and discharge planning, and delivering rehabilitation to ensure patients are optimally rehabilitated and discharged effectively and efficiently. You will make onward referrals to other services as required and support the development of less experienced, unregistered staff and students within the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- You will be responsible for delivering highly skilled physiotherapy to patients in the respective clinical areas.
- You will act as a senior clinical decision-maker, leading complex care and discharge planning.
- You will deliver rehabilitation to ensure patients are optimally rehabilitated and discharged effectively and efficiently.
- You will make onward referrals to other services as required.
- You will support the development of less experienced, unregistered staff and students within the team.
Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work within a team.
- HCPC registration and membership of Chartered Society of Physiotherapy is highly desirable.
Working Arrangements:
This role requires 22.2 hours per week. A UK driving license and car ownership are essential for this position.
