About the Physiotherapist Role

This is a unique opportunity for a physiotherapist to use their clinical skills in a different way and help people move forward with their lives.

As a physiotherapist functional assessor, you will carry out assessments to understand how a person's disability or health condition affects their daily life.

You will listen to their experiences, ask questions, and use your insights to produce a factual report to help the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) determine their eligibility for benefits.

This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires a high level of integrity, clinical knowledge, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out assessments to understand how a person's disability or health condition affects their daily life
  • Listen to their experiences, ask questions, and use your insights to produce a factual report
  • Work with a diverse range of customers and handle challenging situations
  • Develop your clinical knowledge and hone your assessment skills
