Care Support Specialist

The Care Support Specialist plays a vital role in ensuring the well-being and independence of our service users. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support services that cater to the diverse needs of our clients.
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Care Support Specialist to join our team at Rainbow Care Services. As a Care Support Specialist, you will be expected to provide person-centred care that prioritizes the dignity, autonomy, and well-being of our service users.
Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care assistance to service users, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Assist with toileting, feeding, and other daily living activities as required.
- Support service users with medication management and administration.
- Maintain accurate records of service user care plans and progress.
- Communicate effectively with service users, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Relevant experience in care work or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
