Care Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated Care Support Worker to join our team in Ayr. This role involves providing high-quality care and support to our clients in their own homes, promoting independence and dignity.
Job DescriptionIn this rewarding position, you will be responsible for assisting with personal care, including continence support, washing, and dressing. You will also manage medications, cook or prepare hot meals, and help with domestic tasks. Your true impact lies in the companionship, reassurance, and joy you bring to our clients' lives.
Requirements- A passion for helping others and previous caring experience is desirable but not essential.
- A driving licence with access to your own vehicle for work is desirable.
- You should be flexible to work various shifts, including alternate weekends.
- This role is subject to a DBS/PVG check.
- Mileage reimbursement at 35p per mile.
- Opportunity for extra income through our Care Friends referral scheme (up to £500 per referral).
- Overtime available to boost your earnings.
- A comprehensive 3-day training programme, followed by shadowing and peer support from a dedicated care mentor in your first 12 weeks.
- Uniform provided, along with a mobile phone and the Cera app to enhance safe and efficient working.
We estimate the salary for this role to be around £25,000-£30,000 per annum, depending on experience.
