About the Role

Enable is a dynamic and vibrant organisation dedicated to improving the lives of people with learning disabilities. We are seeking a motivated and driven individual to join our team as a Care Support Worker in Ayr.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to make a positive difference in the lives of the people we support, assisting them with various aspects of personal care, moving and handling, and positive behavioural support.

We provide a service of mental health support to 11 adults within a private, core and cluster residential accommodation in the centre of Ayr. The successful candidate will be required to work collaboratively with the team to ensure the safety, wellbeing and aspirations of the people we support are met.

We believe in developing all our staff and provide an extensive learning programme together with in-house career development opportunities. These include, but are not limited to:

  • Person Centred approaches, planning and thinking
  • Introduction to autism
  • Epilepsy awareness
  • Moving and Handling
  • Adult support and protection
  • Child support and protection
  • First Aid
  • Positive Behaviour Support
