Job Title: Youth Care Specialist
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Youth Care Specialist. This role requires someone who can provide emotional support, guidance, and mentorship to our young residents.
About the Role
As a Youth Care Specialist, you will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement personalized care plans that cater to the unique needs and goals of each young person. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the physical, emotional, and psychological well-being of our residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide one-to-one support and guidance to young people to help them manage their emotions, behaviors, and daily routines
- Collaborate with other team members to create and implement care plans that address the unique needs and goals of each resident
- Assist with daily living activities, such as meal preparation, laundry, and cleaning
- Support young people in developing life skills, such as cooking, budgeting, and time management
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge

Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must possess:
- A degree in social work, psychology, or a related field
- Experience working with vulnerable young people, preferably in a residential care setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends
