At Doonbank House Care Home, we're seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our exceptional team. As a key member of our care team, you'll play a vital role in delivering high-quality, personalized care to our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Craft personalized care plans that cater to the unique needs of our residents.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of resident interactions and conditions.
- Lead by example, guiding your team to deliver exceptional care and support.
- Facilitate seamless transitions by ensuring clear communication and continuity of care.
- Monitor resident health and well-being, taking proactive steps to address any concerns.
- Administer medications safely and in accordance with MAR sheets and protocols.
- Foster strong relationships with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Promote independence and autonomy while providing hands-on assistance as needed.
- Act on feedback, prioritizing resident health and well-being above all else.
- Champion respect and dignity for every resident, advocating for their needs and preferences.
- Encourage social interactions and activities, enriching the lives of our residents.
- Prioritize safety, maintaining a vigilant eye on health and well-being.
- Support balanced nutrition and hydration, monitoring residents at risk of weight changes or dehydration.
- Respond to emergencies with confidence and poise, utilizing reflective practices to continually improve our care.
About You:
- You're a Registered General or Mental Health Nurse (RGN or RMN) with an active NMC Nursing PIN.
- Care home experience is a plus, but what really matters is your passion for care and dedication to improving the lives of our residents.
- You have a natural ability to connect with people, bringing warmth, understanding, and a calm, patient demeanor to every interaction.
- Communication is your superpower, whether you're talking with a resident about their needs or guiding your care team.
