Clinical Unit Coordinator

Advinia Care Homes Limited is seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Unit Coordinator to join their team at Golfhill Care Home in Glasgow. As a Clinical Unit Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating the daily operational running of each unit across the care home site, ensuring that care is delivered in line with care plans and needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To coordinate the daily operational running of each unit across the care home site, ensuring that care is delivered in line with care plans and needs.
  • To support units maintain compliance and to follow policy and procedures.
  • To role model exemplary leadership behaviour and advocate for older people.
  • To support staff deliver care in line with Advinia's care principles and care plans, promoting personal choice and independence while ensuring that residents receive the highest standards of personal care and attention appropriate to their needs.
  • To support the person leading the shift, in each unit, in completing their role and coordinate support between the units as required.
  • To support with medication management and administration in line with company policy across the units.
  • To roster staff efficiently and cost-effectively, ensuring resident needs and statutory requirements are met, and that agency use is kept to a minimum.
  • To provide senior management support in the absence of the Home Manager and Deputy Manager when required and provide administrative cover out of hours, taking charge of the Home in rotation with other staff. At these times, to be responsible for the smooth running of the Home in all areas.
  • To effectively communicate with senior management any relevant information about the running of the units and between the units of the home to ensure smooth operational delivery.
  • To support the units in maintaining good professional relationships with all external stakeholders.
