We are seeking a full-time Band 6 Clinical Lead to join our team at the New Victoria Hospital, Renal Dialysis Unit. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of nurses to safely coordinate and direct care within the dialysis unit, utilizing their clinical expertise to provide evidence-based care to patients. The post holder will be expected to deputise for the Senior Clinical Lead and contribute to the development of the service, promoting a culture of inclusion and excellence.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire their team to deliver high-quality care. They will have a deep understanding of the renal service and the ability to work effectively within a dynamic environment, providing specialist teaching and education to junior staff. The successful candidate will be educated to graduate level, with evidence of ongoing professional development, and excellent communication and decision-making skills.

The estimated salary for this role is £43,041 - £55,760 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a range of benefits, including a competitive pension scheme, generous annual leave, and access to training and development opportunities.

We are committed to reducing our full-time working week from 37.5 to 37 hours per week from 1 April 2024, without any change in pay. This reduction will also be applied pro-rata for part-time staff. However, you may be required to work up to an additional 30 minutes per week for a temporary period for which you would be paid until the service you are working in changes rosters or working patterns to accommodate the new reduced working week.
