We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Adviser to join our team, working on workforce support within grant-funded projects and commercially delivered initiatives. This is a full-time role with opportunities for job share flexibility.
This position requires strong employment and HR skills, as well as the ability to contribute to commercial objectives through income generation. While based in Westminster, many of our team members work from home, requiring occasional travel.
This Senior Adviser will be responsible for developing solutions and problem-solving, adapting quickly to changing environments and political contexts. Effective communication, creativity, and the ability to grasp complex issues are essential for success in this role.
Prior experience with job evaluation schemes, workplace mediation, OD/HR support, and pay grading issues would be beneficial. Knowledge of the sectors we work with and stakeholder management skills are also crucial. Understanding of employment law, local government, and HR practices is necessary for effective performance.
Line management experience and budget/project management skills are desirable, but most importantly, you should be able to pick up complex issues and present them convincingly, considering political sensitivities and exercising discretion and judgment when dealing with politicians and officers at all levels.
Please note that you must have the right to work in the UK, as we cannot offer sponsorship visas. Evidence of your right to work in the UK will be requested during the interview process.
Salary and BenefitsThe estimated annual salary for this role is £45,000-£60,000, depending on experience and qualifications. Our benefits package includes comprehensive health insurance, pension scheme, and paid time off.
