About the Role

We are seeking a proactive Strategic Workforce Development Professional to join our team. As a key member of our workforce support function, you will play a vital role in helping us deliver our grant-funded work and commercially delivered projects.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing specialist advice and guidance to colleagues and stakeholders on employment/HR matters
  • Supporting the development of project plans and budgets
  • Building and maintaining effective relationships with stakeholders, including elected members, commercial clients, and the civil service

You will have a strong understanding of employment law, local government, and HR practice. Experience of job evaluation schemes, workplace mediation, and OD/HR support would be an advantage.

As a strategic thinker, you will be able to grasp complex issues and present convincing arguments in person and in writing. You will also have the ability to exercise discretion and judgement when dealing with politicians and officers at every level.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have the right to work in the UK and be able to travel as necessary.
