About Our Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced Director of Workforce Development to partner with our HR Directors and shape the future of talent and succession development across our 11,000-strong workforce.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Talent Development Strategies: Develop and implement comprehensive talent development strategies, focusing on identifying and developing high-potential individuals within the organisation.
  2. Collaborate with HR Business Partners: Collaborate with HR Business Partners to identify critical roles, assess future skills needs, and implement effective development programmes.
  3. Cultivate Growth Culture: Foster a culture of growth and development by designing and implementing targeted coaching, mentorship, and training initiatives.
  4. Create Meaningful Career Pathways: Design and implement meaningful career pathways that align with the organisation's strategic objectives and foster employee engagement and retention.
  5. Develop Succession Planning: Develop a comprehensive succession planning framework to ensure the organisation has a robust pipeline of future leaders.
Requirements:
  • Talent Development Expertise: Proven expertise in talent development, succession planning, or organisational development roles.
  • Strategic Mindset: A strategic mindset with the ability to develop and implement effective talent development strategies.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.

  • Competitive Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum based on experience.
