Our Mission

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Estates East team, you will be responsible for the delivery of soft services, including cleaning, caretaking, and grounds maintenance. You will work closely with our Regional Operations Manager to develop and implement process improvements, ensuring the effective use of resources and the delivery of high-quality services to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies to improve the delivery of soft services, including cleaning, caretaking, and grounds maintenance.
  • Work closely with the Regional Operations Manager to develop and implement process improvements, ensuring the effective use of resources and the delivery of high-quality services to our customers.
  • Manage health and safety aspects of operations, ensuring business responsibilities are delivered in a safe manner.
  • Identify and allocate resources to ensure effective use of self-delivery teams in line with financial and operational requirements.

Requirements

  • Degree, management qualification, or relevant professional qualification.
  • Experience of managing multi-site maintenance contracts in a commercially focused role.
  • Proven experience of delivering services within budget.
  • Proven ability to effectively recruit, manage, and develop people.
  • Proven track record managing a direct labour operation or internal maintenance service.
  • A knowledge of the Estate Services function and management of soft services such as cleaning and grounds maintenance is advantageous.
