Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Site Operations Manager to join our team in Ely, Cambridgeshire. As a Site Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our construction site, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate the activities of site staff, including laborers, tradespeople, and subcontractors.
  • Develop and implement site-specific safety plans and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Monitor and control site costs, including labor, materials, and equipment.
  • Coordinate and manage site logistics, including transportation, storage, and waste management.
  • Ensure that all site activities are carried out in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that projects are delivered on time and to budget.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues that may impact project delivery.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Site Operations Manager or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in construction management or a related field preferred.
