Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Site Manager to join our team at Randstad UK Holding. As an Assistant Site Manager, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of our traditional build housing schemes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Site Manager in the day-to-day management of the construction site
- Work with external and internal packages to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
- Conduct inductions and toolbox talks to ensure all site staff are aware of their responsibilities and the company's health and safety policies
- Programme and coordinate the work of sub-contractors and trades staff to ensure projects are completed in accordance with the build programme
- Identify and report any issues that cannot be rectified on site to the Site Manager
- Organize and manage all trades and labour, including sub-contractors
- Ensure that all work is completed to the required quality standards and that any remedial work is completed prior to occupation
- Take responsibility for the health and safety of all site staff and ensure that all site staff are aware of their responsibilities in this regard
- Develop and implement plans to improve site efficiency and productivity
- Work closely with the Site Manager to ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the required quality standards
Requirements:
- Assistant Site Management experience on traditional build housing schemes
- Experience of working with Housing Associations (HA) would be an advantage
- Trade background, with experience as a supervisor would be an advantage
- CSCS card and First Aid certification
- Ability to work flexibly and take on additional duties and training as required
