Rate: £300 per day

The Company

Velocity Recruitment is seeking a skilled Site Manager to lead a high-profile external refurbishment project for a leading high street bank. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing projects of varying complexity, from £1m to £100m, in the commercial, retail, and public sectors.

The Role

We are looking for a Site Manager to oversee the refurbishment of a high street bank, including roofing works. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring high standards of work and HSQE are achieved through regular monitoring and inspections.
  • Identifying potential issues that may impact project delivery and taking necessary action.
  • Managing the performance of direct reports and sub-contract labour, ensuring they work safely and efficiently.
  • Coordinating the activities of different sub-contractors to ensure work is carried out efficiently and to the required standard.

This is a 12-week scheme with potential for additional projects to follow.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • CSCS Black Card
  • SMSTS
  • First Aid

Additionally, the successful candidate will have experience as a lead/sole Site Manager on site.
