Job Title

We are seeking a skilled CAD draughtsperson to join our team at Service Service Employment Agency Limited in Wymondham, Norfolk. This role involves designing and implementing cutting-edge AV solutions and contributing to the development of innovative technology.

About the Role

This is a great opportunity for a talented individual with experience in creating detailed drawings using 2D AutoCAD software and BIM packages. You will be responsible for producing high-quality documents that meet industry standards and assisting in the development of AV solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create full dimensioned AV/IT drawings to customer specifications.
  • Mark up client-supplied drawings with AV/IT service requirements.
  • Produce 'proof of concept' layout drawings to assist with the specification of AV/IT solutions.
  • Assist in the production of schematic diagrams working in conjunction with the AV Architect.
  • Work away: some projects may require on-site support from a design role, including site surveying to support technical drawings.
Requirements:
  • UK driving license.
  • Competency in using 2D AutoCAD software package preferred.
  • Competency in using 2D/3D software drawing package (BIM).
  • Maths, English, and a Science-related GCSE at grade A-C.
  • Ability to convert verbal and written information into two-dimensional drawings.
  • Experience in using computer applications such as Microsoft products, i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook.
  • Working in 3D & 2D CAD packages.
  • Able to work unsupervised, under pressure, and deliver projects within the given timeline.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical individuals.
  • Self-driven and results-oriented.
  • Able to work extended hours as required.
  • Able to use access equipment and physically install hardware into clients' sites without assistance.
  • Ability to maintain a sense of humour when working under pressure and to deadlines.
  • Works well with others in a team setting.
Salary:

The estimated salary for this role is £42,000 - £52,000 per annum, depending on experience.
