We are currently recruiting for a Highways Maintenance Technician to join our Highways team working on the Norwich project. The role is based at our Tarmac Norwich site in Norfolk and is accessible from various locations in the region.

We strive to create a dynamic and inclusive work environment that celebrates diversity. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to the successful delivery of kerbing, paving, drainage, and patching works within the Norwich and Norfolk area.

Your primary responsibilities as a Roads Infrastructure Specialist will include:

  • Supporting the delivery of our Highways programme
  • Working collaboratively with a crew to complete tasks efficiently and effectively
  • Reporting Safety Observations through our dedicated reporting system
  • Carrying out pre-start checks on equipment and machines
  • Meeting gang targets and minimizing costs to maximize profitability
  • Safely storing plant and equipment at the end of each shift
  • Updating your personal training plan with your line manager
  • Achieving Company and Contractual KPI's

You must be able to work overtime and cover out-of-hours emergency call-outs when directed.

The ideal candidate for this role should possess the following:

  • NRSWA card
  • Experience in construction and highways maintenance works
  • A valid UK full manual car driving licence with no more than 6 points
