Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Highways Maintenance Specialist to join our team in Norwich. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality kerbing, paving, drainage, and patching works across the region.

Main Responsibilities
  • Support the successful delivery of our highway maintenance programme
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to undertake works orders efficiently and effectively
  • Maintain a keen eye for detail and report any safety observations on our internal reporting system
  • Perform pre-start checks on all equipment, including hired-in plant, to ensure safe operation
  • Meet gang targets while minimizing costs to maximize profitability and offer alternative methods when possible
  • Ensure all plant is securely stored in designated areas at the end of each shift
  • Pursue ongoing training and professional development, updating your personal training plan with your line manager at regular review sessions
The Ideal Candidate

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A valid NRSWA card
  • Experience in construction and highways maintenance
  • A full manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points
