Overview

PepsiCo is a leading beverage and snack food company that seeks an experienced Strategic Account Manager to join its UK Sales team.

This role requires strong commercial acumen, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build and maintain strategic relationships with key customers.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for owning and executing the PepsiCo business strategy within a designated account, driving growth and revenue through effective customer engagement and relationship-building.

You will work closely with internal stakeholders, including Shopper Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, Digital, and Category Management teams, to deliver positive business outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Owning and executing the PepsiCo business strategy within a designated account.
  • Driving growth and revenue through effective customer engagement and relationship-building.
  • Managing external customer relationships with key trading contacts to Senior Buyer Level.
  • Building Joint Business Plans to deliver mutual PepsiCo and customer growth.
  • Working closely with internal stakeholders to deliver positive business outcomes.
Requirements
  • Strong sales experience, including past experience of account ownership.
  • Proven commercial and analytical ability in order to manage both the operational and strategic agendas.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with a proven ability to influence both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to conduct multi-faceted negotiations at both tactical and strategic/contractual level.
  • A customer-centric and innovative approach.

PepsiCo offers a competitive salary package, including a base salary of £60,000 per annum, plus bonus and benefits.
