Enhancing Wellbeing in Corrections Facilities

Ara Poutama Aotearoa (Department of Corrections) Health Services lead the delivery of patient-focused primary health care services to tangata within corrections facilities across Aotearoa. This role plays a vital part in enhancing wellbeing within these settings.

Estimated Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per annum

About the Role:

  1. This position involves fostering and improving the well-being of individuals under our care, utilizing culturally safe practices and approaches.
  2. The ideal candidate will possess experience in trauma-informed practice models and working with at-risk patients.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Social Work qualification recognised by the Social Workers Registration Board NZ.
  • Post-graduate degree in mental health preferred.
