Communication Development Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Speech and Language Professional to support the communication and language development needs of students across our primary schools in East Kent.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and assess students with speech and language needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized intervention plans.
  • Train and consult with school staff on effective speech and language strategies.
  • Collaborate with parents and external agencies.
  • Evaluate intervention progress and adapt strategies as needed.
  • Contribute to creating an inclusive environment.

Requirements:

  • Recognised qualification in Speech and Language Therapy.
  • Experience working with children in an educational setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively.
  • Commitment to enhancing children's lives.
