At Radius Care, we are committed to providing exceptional care to our residents. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Support Worker to join our team in Elloughton Gardens, Timaru.
About the RoleThis is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about delivering high-quality care and making a positive impact on people's lives. As a Support Worker, you will be working closely with our Registered Nurses to implement individual care plans and provide exceptional support to our residents.
- Undertaking personal cares, while encouraging residents to maintain their independence and dignity.
- Maintaining accurate records of resident health information.
- Assisting with handover of residents at shift changes.
We offer a competitive salary of $25 per hour, plus opportunities for career progression and professional development through Careerforce and NZQA qualifications.
RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing Level 3 (or equivalent) and 3 years of relevant experience; OR New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing Level 4 (or equivalent).
- A flexible approach to work, including willingness to work on a rostered shift basis.
