About the Role:

  • As an HR Lead, you will oversee a team of 11 staff members who provide HR and employment law advice to various companies.
  • You will mentor and monitor advisors to ensure they provide high-quality, commercially focused advice to clients.
  • Your role includes offering second opinions on HR matters, managing team absences, conducting performance reviews, and recruiting new team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead a team of 11 HR advisors in providing HR and employment law advice to clients.
  2. Mentor and monitor advisors to ensure quality and commerciality of advice.
  3. Offer second opinions on HR matters.
  4. Manage team absences, sickness, lateness, holidays, disciplinaries, and conduct performance reviews.
  5. Be involved in recruitment of new team members.

Requirements:

  • A background in HR is essential, with experience working in HR within any business, including retail and hospitality.
  • Management experience is necessary, but HR experience takes precedence.
  • You should have experience working with HR issues, grievances, holidays, sickness, disciplinaries, etc.

Location: Leicester

Salary: £40,000 + profit share
