About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Social Worker to take on a leadership role within our team, overseeing day-to-day operations and supervising staff. You will be responsible for quality checking and auditing work completed by your team members, ensuring high standards are met in accordance with legislation and safeguarding policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Spearhead the development and implementation of strategies to promote a strengths-based approach to social work practice
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver seamless care services
  • Supervise and develop junior staff members, providing guidance and training as needed
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, adhering to data protection guidelines
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging innovation and best practices within the team

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • A social work qualification and SWE registration
  • Experience in chairing meetings and promoting a person-centred approach
  • Strong knowledge of legislation used within Adult Social Care, including safeguarding policies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lead a team and make decisions in a fast-paced environment
