Job Summary

Thomas Talent Network is seeking an experienced and visionary Director of Nursing to lead our nursing department in providing exceptional patient care and services. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the management and leadership of our nursing staff, ensuring high-quality patient care, and maintaining compliance with established standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage all nursing staff within the facility, fostering a professional and supportive work environment.
  • Create and enforce nursing policies and procedures to ensure high-quality patient care and compliance with regulations.
  • Oversee the recruitment, hiring, and retention of nursing staff, ensuring adequate staffing levels and up-to-date skills.
  • Supervise nursing staff behavior and professional conduct, staying aware of all incidents and events within the facility.
  • Evaluate and address the healthcare needs of each resident, ensuring their well-being and satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Current State RN license.
  • At least 5 years of experience in long-term care.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory role.
  • Proven strong leadership and supervisory skills.
