Job Description

Job Summary:

Circle Health Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Clinical Services to join our team. As a key member of our Senior Management Team, you will be responsible for providing clinical direction and leadership to our clinical staff, ensuring the delivery of excellent clinical standards of care and driving a culture of patient safety, clinical effectiveness, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical direction and leadership to all clinical staff, including nursing, allied health professionals, and medical staff.
  • Lead and drive the delivery of excellent clinical standards of care within all clinical areas.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve patient safety, clinical effectiveness, and the patient experience.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Management Team to ensure the hospital's provision of safe, effective, caring, and responsive patient care.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Develop and manage budgets and resources to achieve clinical and operational objectives.
  • Lead and manage change initiatives to improve clinical services and patient outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse Level 1 or Registered Practitioner/Diploma/Relevant Health Specialty Degree/Degree Level Qualification.
  • Evidence of relevant professional development, both clinically and managerially.
  • Ability to motivate and lead a team of clinical professionals.
  • Proficient in the use of a PC, including software and systems.
  • Knowledge of NHS Standard Contract requirements.
  • Experience of working in the Independent Sector.
  • Professional experience across more than one clinical specialty or discipline.
  • Understanding of service re-design, clinical pathways, and system reform.
  • Commercial experience.
