Job Description

Job Summary:

Circle Health Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Clinical Services to join our team. As a key member of our Senior Management Team, you will be responsible for providing clinical direction and leadership to our clinical staff, driving excellence in patient care and safety, and contributing to the overall success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical direction and leadership to all clinical staff, including nursing, allied health professionals, and medical staff.
  • Lead and drive the delivery of excellent clinical standards of care across all clinical areas, promoting a culture of patient safety, clinical effectiveness, and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Management Team to ensure the hospital team provides safe, effective, caring, and responsive patient care in a safe and high-quality clinical environment, maximizing financial and operational performance.
  • Ensure all appropriate measures are taken to maintain, promote, and safeguard the wellbeing and interests of patients, employees, and visitors.

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse Level 1 or Registered Practitioner/Diploma/Relevant Health Specialty Degree/Degree-Level Qualification.
  • Evidence of relevant professional development, both clinically and managerially, preferably evidenced by a registered qualification with the NMC, HCPC, or GPC.
  • Ability to motivate a team of clinical professionals.
  • Proficient in the use of a PC, including software and systems.
  • Knowledge of NHS Standard Contract requirements.
  • Experience of working in the Independent Sector.
  • Professional experience across more than one clinical specialty or discipline.
  • Understanding of service re-design, clinical pathways, and system reform.
  • Commercial experience.
