Job Description

Job Summary:

The Director of Clinical Services will provide strategic leadership and direction to the clinical teams, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and services that meet the needs of our patients and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the clinical services team, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of excellent patient care.
  • Develop and implement clinical strategies and policies that align with the organization's goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with senior management to ensure the effective management of clinical resources and services.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Provide leadership and direction to the clinical teams, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Monitor and evaluate the quality of patient care, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Develop and manage budgets and resources to ensure the effective delivery of clinical services.

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse Level 1 or Registered Practitioner/Diploma/Relevant Health Specialty Degree/Degree Level Qualification.
  • Evidence of relevant professional development, both clinically and managerially.
  • Ability to motivate and lead a team of clinical professionals.
  • Proficient in the use of a PC, including software and systems.
  • Knowledge of NHS Standard Contract requirements.
  • Experience of working in the Independent Sector.
  • Professional experience across more than one clinical specialty or discipline.
  • Understanding of service re-design, clinical pathways, and system reform.
  • Commercial experience.
