Thomas Talent Network is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Nursing to lead our nursing department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the management and leadership of our nursing staff, ensuring high-quality patient care and maintaining compliance with established standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage all nursing staff within the facility, fostering a professional and supportive work environment.
- Create and enforce nursing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Oversee the recruitment, hiring, and retention of nursing staff, ensuring adequate staffing levels and up-to-date skills.
- Supervise nursing staff behavior and professional conduct, addressing any incidents or events within the facility.
- Evaluate and address the healthcare needs of each resident, ensuring their well-being and quality of life.
- Current State RN license.
- At least 5 years of experience in long-term care.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory role.
- Proven strong leadership and supervisory skills, with a commitment to fostering a professional and supportive work environment.
