We are seeking a qualified and experienced Social Worker to join our team at Care Managers. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing safeguarding and protection for children within Northampton and Wellingborough.
Key Responsibilities- Implement current legislation and policies effectively to ensure the safety and wellbeing of children.
- Collaborate with multiple agencies to provide comprehensive care and protection plans.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all interventions and assessments.
- Continuously develop professional skills through postqualification learning and development opportunities.
- Education: CQSW/CSS DipSW/Degree in Social Work Home Office letter of Recognition or equivalent.
- Clearance: Satisfactory Disclosure & Barring Service clearance.
- Registration: HCPC registration.
- At least three years post qualifying experience if undertaking role within Adoption Services.
A qualified Social Worker with HCPC registration and a minimum of one year's post-qualification experience is required. Strong assessment, planning, and intervention skills are essential, as well as excellent record-keeping and report-writing abilities. The successful candidate will be proactive, collaborative, and able to manage a complex workload.
