Key Responsibilities- Child Safeguarding: Develop and implement effective safeguarding policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of children in our care.
- Collaboration and Partnership: Work closely with multiple agencies, including social services, healthcare providers, and education institutions, to provide comprehensive care and protection plans.
- Assessment and Intervention: Conduct thorough assessments and implement interventions to address the needs of children in our care.
- Record-Keeping and Reporting: Maintain accurate and detailed records of all interventions and assessments, and provide regular reports to stakeholders.
- Professional Development: Stay up-to-date with the latest research, policies, and best practices in child safeguarding and protection, and participate in ongoing professional development opportunities.
- Education: A recognized qualification in social work, such as a CQSW, CSS DipSW, or Degree in Social Work, and a Home Office letter of recognition or equivalent.
- Clearance: Satisfactory Disclosure & Barring Service clearance.
- Registration: HCPC registration.
- Experience: A minimum of one year post-qualification experience in a related field, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality care and protection services.
- Strong Assessment and Intervention Skills: The ability to conduct thorough assessments and implement effective interventions to address the needs of children in our care.
- Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills: The ability to work effectively with children, families, and other stakeholders, and to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner.
- Strong Organizational and Time Management Skills: The ability to prioritize tasks, manage a complex workload, and meet deadlines.
