Position Title: Support Care Specialist

Employment Type: Temporary to Permanent

Compensation: Starting at £11.50 per hour

Working Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, on a 3-week rolling rota system

Role Overview:
As a Support Care Specialist, you will be instrumental in safeguarding the health and welfare of our clients during the designated hours. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Providing assistance that enhances the overall health and well-being of the individuals in your care.
  • Contributing to and implementing personalized support plans.
  • Assisting with personal hygiene, housing support, health requirements (including medication management), personal growth, emotional support, and community engagement.

Candidate Profile:
We are seeking individuals who demonstrate the following attributes:
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
  • Experience in supporting adults with learning disabilities and complex behaviors.
  • Possession of Level 2 or 3 qualifications in health and social care, or the willingness to obtain these qualifications within a specified timeframe upon joining.
  • The ability to start on a temporary basis with the intention of transitioning to a permanent role after an agreed period.
