Maternity Administrative Support Officer

About the Role
University Hospital Southampton NHS Trust is seeking an experienced administrative professional to join our Maternity Services team as a Maternity Administrative Support Officer. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, providing comprehensive administrative support to the Maternity Business Administration Manager and the Midwifery Leadership team.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide efficient and comprehensive administrative support, including diary management, meeting arrangements, and document preparation.
- Support with workforce sickness management, appraisal recording, and recruitment processes.
- Assist with the preparation and circulation of agendas, papers, and minutes.
- Organize meetings, training, and service visits, including venue arrangements and hospitality.
Requirements
- NVQ Level 4 in business administration or equivalent experience.
- Advanced keyboard skills and a good standard of secondary education with English skills demonstrable to GSCE pass level or equivalent standard.
- Experience working as a Personal Assistant or in business administration, with a proven track record of working in a demanding environment and for senior leaders.
- Ability to diary manage involving a wide range of people with conflicting priorities, and advanced level experience in the use of Microsoft 365.
