Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Lead to join our team at Raytheon UK. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for leading commercial activity for the delivery of existing business and/or new business requirements within cross-functional teams.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver innovative commercial solutions in support of proposals and customer requirements, together with administration of complex due diligence activity.
  • Negotiate a range of contractual agreements and manage non-routine issues through senior functional management, referring to counsel when necessary.
  • Identify and manage contract change throughout the contract life cycle to maximise opportunities and reduce risks to performance.
  • Share responsibility for programme and bid financial performance with multi-functional leadership team.
  • Produce business cases/briefing materials for senior management reviews.

Candidate Requirements:

We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in commercial negotiation and contract management, with experience of working in the Defence, Cyber, Training and Aerospace industry. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, combined with a flexible and positive attitude, and a good working knowledge of import/export legislation with specific understanding of ITAR.
