Job Title: Support Worker for Young Adult with Brain Injury

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team and provide care and support to a young adult with brain injury and learning difficulties.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing personal care and support to the individual, including assisting with daily living tasks, accompanying them in the community, and promoting their independence.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with individuals with brain injury and learning difficulties, and will be able to provide a safe and supportive environment for the individual.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care and support to the individual, including assisting with daily living tasks
  • Accompany the individual in the community and promote their independence
  • Work closely with the individual's family and healthcare team to ensure their needs are met
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to the individual
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience working with individuals with brain injury and learning difficulties
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility and willingness to work varied hours
